Jing Li has obtained her PhD degree in intellectual property law from Intellectual Property Research Institute of Xiamen University. She has obtained her LL.M in intellectual property law from University of Washington and LL.B from East China University of Politics and Law. During her study in U.S., she was highly recommended by University of Washington to undertake an internship in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) NY office. She is also admitted to N.Y. bar and Chinese bar. She has provided law-related courses to undergraduates in English for several years. Her study and teaching experiences have provided her full capacities to undertake international academic research and communication. She has also been involved in several important research projects including “Legislation of Technological Protection Measure” funded by WIPO and “Study of Administration Mechanism of National Asset in the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements” funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. She has published several articles in top legal journals based on the theme of her PhD dissertation, which is Legal and Economic Analysis of China’s Patent Infringement Damage System. Her research focuses on patent law, technology law and economic analysis of law.
