Deepening the Cooperation between Institutes and Enterprises, Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute Added Two Theoretical and Practical Innovation Base

On February 18 2017, the establishment of the Fujian Pintong Law Firm as well as the signing ceremony of Theoretical and Practical Innovation Base of Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute were held in Xiamen. The leadership and guests who attended the signing ceremony are Director of Social Science Research Chen Wuyuan, Executive Vice President of Institute Tao Tao, Director of Science and Technology Tan Zhong, Dean of Law School Song Fangqing, Vice President of Law School associated Dean of Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute Lin Xiuqin, Associate Dean of Xiamen University Law School He Linxin, Associate Dean of Xiamen University Law School Li Lanyin, Associate Dean of Xiamen University School of Law Zhu Yansheng, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Xiamen University Law School Guo Jinxing, General Manager of Xiamen Jianfa Co., Ltd. Zheng Yongda, Deputy Secretary of Xiamen International Trade Holding Group Co., Ltd. Zhang Yunming, Director / Vice President of Fujian Seven Wolves Industrial Co., Ltd. Wu Xingqun and the whole lawyers of Zhongzhen Yinhua (Beijing) Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. and Fujian Pintong Law Firm. All teachers and students of Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute witnessed this exciting moment.


Prof. Song Fangqing, Dean of Xiamen University Law School, made a wonderful speech. Prof. Song expressed her warm congratulations on the establishment of Fujian Pintong Law Firm, and spoke highly of the combination pattern of theory and practice. What’s more, she praised and encouraged the establishment of Theoretical and Practical Innovation Bases.

Prof. Lin Xiuqin, Dean of Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute, with Jiang Yu, Manager of ZhongZhen Yinhua (Beijing) Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. and Chen Fuyong, General Manager of Fujian Pintong Law Firm, built a theoretical and innovative practice base by cooperation agreement. They also signed  a cooperation agreement and on-site award between Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute and Fujian Pintong Law Firm to build theoretical and innovative practice base. The signing ceremony fully play of the advantages and role of all parties, and is to promote the combination of intellectual property theory and practice, the convergence of legal education and legal career in-depth, the practice of a new method about how to teach law.

Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute has been focusing on institute-to-business cooperation, hoping to create a high level, professional, standardized off-campus practice platform for the training of intellectual property professionals and create first-class practice environment. The Institute has built many theoretical and practical innovation bases with (Xiamen) Intellectual Property Affairs Co., Ltd., Chen Hong Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., Beijing Tianshan Daxu Intellectual Property Rights Co., Ltd, Beijing Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd respectively.
