主讲人简介：

Professional Experience

2012 – Present：Managing Director of Bayer Intellectual Property GmbH which is the IP Managing 
and IP Holding legal entity of the Bayer Group in Germany ( about 180 employees) and Chief 
Intellectual Property Counsel for the global Bayer Group of Companies (Heading globally 
about almost 400 employees concerned with IP within the group).(main subgroups are Health Care and Crop Science , All fields of IP (i.a. strategy, Litigation et cet.)

Jörg Thomaier studied Chemistry in Heidelberg and Utrecht and did his Ph.D. in Freiburg and
 Zurich. Afterwards he joined the Bayer Group and became a European Patent Attorney. He 
then headed several Bayer business units as Patent Counsel to become Chief Intellectual 
Property Counsel and Corporate Head of IP. Since April 2012 he is Chief Intellectual Property 
Counsel of the Bayer Group and Managing Director of Bayer IP GmbH.
